<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has a transmission unit e.g. endless screw (2) or cylindrical pinion, and two toothed wheels (4-1, 4-2) driven in rotation in same direction around a common rotational axis (A) based on a shifting angle. The wheels are separated by an intermediate space (E) and provided with teeth (6-1, 6-2) on their faces, where the teeth encircle the space. The unit extends in the space to co-operate with teeth of the wheels. The unit has a main axis (A') shifted with respect to a perpendicular axis to the rotational axis. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for transmission of movement in an electrical equipment e.g. window regulator, seat displacement device, windscreen wiper, machine tool encoder, or electric power assisted steering system, of a motor vehicle (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The transmission unit extends in the space to co-operate with teeth of the wheels, thus reducing mechanical constraints exerted on the teeth of the wheels, and hence minimizing wear of the teeth, reducing risk of mechanical breakage, and increasing transmitted torque.
