METHOD AND APPARATUS OF BIT AND FRAME SYNCHRONIZATION FOR SATELLITE NAVIGATION RECEIVER

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for synchronizing a frame and a bit of a satellite navigation receiver are provided to synchronize the frame and the bit by generating a preamble of a bit stream based on the bit stream of a message. CONSTITUTION: An oversampled preamble(303) is generated based on a bit stream of an input message. A first correlative value is generated by correlating a par of the input message. The first correlative value is compared with a threshold value. If the first correlative value exceeds the threshold value, a second correlative value is generated by correlating a part of the input message with the preamble which is jumped with a constant interval. The second correlative value is compared with the threshold value. If the second correlation value exceeds the threshold value, a success of the bit and frame synchronization is declared when the second correlation value exceeds the threshold value. The generated preamble is oversampled based on the sampling ratio of the bit stream of the input message.
