<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wear-resistant and impact resistant excavator bucket used for taking off rigid aggregates, and pulling, transporting, and loading, on a truck, rocks, usable without damage, even if used over a long period, and manufactured by casting, and to provide a method of manufacturing the excavator bucket. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Bromine (B) is added to a silica (Si)-chromium (Cr)-Manganese (Mn) as a base; after the bucket 100, obtained by heating an ingot at a melting temperature of 1,600-1,650°C and filling the molten metal into the hollow part of a casting mold for the bucket, is charged in an electric furnace and heated to a temperature of 900-1,100°C, the bucket is immersed in cold water and shot-peened; the assembly part 111 is bored, peeled, drilled, and tapped; and after parts such as bushes, pins, and bolts are assembled into the assembly part 111, the bucket is washed, dried, and painted externally for completion.
