PURPOSE: A portable terminal and an information displaying method using the same are provided to search a specific work in whole web page screen even on a limited screen of the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(710) outputs information processed in a portable terminal(700). A manipulation unit(720) control the operation of the portable terminal. When a web page is displayed on the display unit, a control unit(750) displays a search result about a web page of a searching word inputted from a user and a partial image a web page in which the searching result is located together. In the partial image, if there are two or more searching result items, a cursor is located on one searching result item. A motion sensing unit(740) outputs a sensing signal according to each movement by sensing the movement of the portable terminal.
