<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive colored composition for a filter segment capable of reducing the height of an angular protrusion which occurs when a filter segment of a color filter is formed on a light shielding film in a liquid crystal display, and a color filter for a liquid crystal display using the photosensitive colored composition. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive colored composition includes a resin, a monomer, a photoinitiator and a colorant, wherein a homopolymer of the monomer has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of ≤50°C.
