PURPOSE: A vibration control device of a mobile terminal and a control method thereof are provided to add directionality to vibrations using one or more vibration devices, thereby producing a livelier video. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(100) includes a wireless communication unit(110), an A/V(Audio/Video) input unit(120), a user input unit(130), a sensing unit(140), an output unit(150), a memory(160), an interface unit(170), a control unit(180), a multimedia module(181), and a power supply unit(190). The multimedia module plays content. The content is composed of either between audio or video. A vibration module includes one or more vibration devices. The control unit detects the motion information of a specific object from the contents. According to the detected information, the control unit controls the vibration direction and intensity of the vibration device.
