摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implant material having fixing reliability which is used to fill a defective bone part as a bone filling material or a primary scaffold material and is fixed to the defective bone part so that the material does not fall off from the defective bone part. <P>SOLUTION: The implant material 100 having fixing reliability toward a defective bone part comprises a block-like implant material body 10 used to fill a defective bone part and a spring material 20 made of a biodegradable and bioabsorbable polymer and embedded within the implant material body 10 in such a way that ends 2a project from the surfaces of the implant material body 10. The spring material becomes compressed in the longitudinal direction when pressed in the longitudinal direction and returns to its original length when the pressure is released. When the implant material is used to fill a defective bone part, the ends 2a of the spring material 20 abut the inside of the defective bone part having concavities and convexities and catch the concavities and convexities. Alternatively, when a recessed hole is formed in advance on the inner surface of the defective bone part, the ends 2a of the spring material 20 fit in the recessed hole.
