<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic which not only provides external components for making the skin beautiful but also achieves a beautiful skin by inducing detoxification inside the skin so that the skin can restore its original state, and to provide a cosmetic which reduces or eliminates toxicity of various cosmetic compounding agents and synergistically increases effects of active ingredients that have been masked by the toxicity of the cosmetic compounding agents so as to excel in both safety and effectiveness. <P>SOLUTION: The cosmetic contains: a plant extract which is selected based on the degree of enhancement of glutathione-S-transferase activity in skin cells as an index; and the cosmetic compounding agents which has toxicity capable of being reduced or eliminated by the plant extract. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
