<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure of a rigid body built in a vehicle dispelling a concern that an injury index of a pedestrian or an occupant may not fall by a rigid body provided within a storage space formed on an instrument panel. <P>SOLUTION: The supporting structure 10 of the rigid body 14 built in the vehicle including an attachment table 20 which is disposed on a lower side of a vehicle body in the storage space 24 formed on the instrument panel 12 and to which a bottom 14A of the rigid body 14 is attached, and a supporting member 26 extending from an upper side of the vehicle body in the storage space 24 toward the rigid body 14 and having a locking part 28 locked to a locked part 16 projecting from the rigid body 14 is configured to release a locked state of the locking part 28 to the locked part 16, when the instrument panel 12 is applied with a load not less than a predetermined value toward the lower side of the vehicle body, and a deformation of the instrument panel 12 caused by the load applies a pressure to the rigid body 14 toward the lower side of the vehicle body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
