An elevator group management control device has a response time prediction means, a passenger movement estimation means, a waiting time prediction means, a candidate cage selection means, an assignment means, and a command means. The response time prediction means predicts the response time of each cage with respect to a cage call from a remote call registration device. The passenger movement estimation means estimates a passenger movement time based on the positional relationship between the remote call registration device and a boarding area. The waiting time prediction means predicts the waiting time for each cage, based on the response time and the passenger movement time. The candidate cage selection means selects cages having a waiting time shorter than a predetermined time as candidate cages and excludes cages having a waiting time longer than or equal to the predetermined waiting time from the candidate cages. The assignment means, when at least any of the cages is a candidate cage, determines an assigned cage from among the candidate cages. The command means, when all the cages are excluded from the candidate cages, generates an announcement command for instructing the remote call registration device to announce re-input request information for prompting an input operation to a boarding area call registration device. |
