The motor has a stator (1) provided with stator poles (2, 3), and an armature rotor (4) provided with armature teeth (5), which are arranged with rotor grooves (9) lying at a periphery of the armature rotor. A winding (8') is provided on the armature teeth, and includes two partial windings that are connected with lamellas (L) of a commutator (6). One of the partial windings is formed as alpha bake side windings, and the lamellas are connected among each other by bridges of the commutator. The winding is formed as a tooth winding. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an armature rotor of a commutator motor.
