<p>The object of the invention is an apparatus for tightening the compensating ropes of an elevator, which elevator comprises at least a hoisting machine (6) and also an elevator car (3) as well as a counterweight (4) suspended on hoisting roping (5), which are fitted to travel in an essentially vertical direction, and between which elevator car (3) and counterweight (4) at least one compensating rope (2) is fixed such that the first end of the compensating rope (2) is fixed to the elevator car (3), from where it is led downwards to pass below the compensating pulley (1), after which upwards again to the counterweight (4), to which the second end of the compensating rope (2) is fixed. The tensioning weight (9) is disposed separately to the compensating pulley (1) and the tightening force of the tensioning weight (9) is transmitted to the compensating pulley (1) via an essentially flexible transmission element (11) and also via a plurality of diverting pulleys (13, 14, 15a, 15b, 16a, 16b).</p> |
