PURPOSE: A rapid heating mascara curler and a method of rapidly heating a mascara curler are provided to reduce the time to shape eyelashes, to prevent eyelashes from becoming damaged by an overheating of the curler, and to reduce a safety accidents. CONSTITUTION: A rapid heating mascara curler comprises the following: a battery(500), stored in the inner space of the curler, formed with a body and a handle; and an eyelash shaping unit including a heating unit(371) formed with a heating member. The battery has a greater voltage than a rated voltage which can be accepted by the heating member. A method of rapidly heating a mascara curler comprises the following steps of: determining the switch-on and the switch-off state of an operational switch(310); connecting the voltage from the battery to the heating member while the operational switch is on; and switching off the operational switch, after a certain amount of time, to block the electricity from the battery to the heating member.
