The present invention is aimed at designing highly productive machine for cutting wood strips holding the predetermined thickness. The machine comprises a stand (1) with a carriage (2) mounted thereon adapted to longitudinal reciprocating motion along guides (3). The carriage (2) with a support (5) comprises a &Pgr;-shaped casing for fixing a wood piece, the fixing unit with a pressing mechanism fixed on pneumatic cylinder rods. A pusher (10) is also mounted on the carriage (2) for stepped feed of a wood piece. A feed unit (13, 14, 15) is arranged on one side of the stand (1), transverse to the cartridge movement, wherein a sawing unit comprising a circular saw blade (16) with a drive (17) is positioned on the opposite stand side. The rotation axis of the circular saw blade (16) is arranged transversely to the carriage direction movement. |
