<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching hub capable of easily and inexpensively confirming whether a contracted band is always secured, and to provide a communication band confirmation method and a communication band confirmation system. <P>SOLUTION: The switching hub is provided with a transmitting means 35 for supplying dummy data together with real data and transmitting them in the contracted band as shown in Fig.3. The transmitting means 35 includes: a transmission buffer 36 for storing the real data in each different priority; a buffer 37 for dummy supply provided in the transmission buffer to store dummy data whose priority set to the lowest; a dummy data supplying means 38 for supplying the dummy data to the buffer for dummy supply; and a scheduler 39 for extracting the real data or the dummy data from the transmission buffer and transmitting the real data or the dummy data according to a priority. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
