摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hexagonal boron nitride sintered compact, which can be sintered in the presence of oxygen, has high relative density and has excellent mechanical strength. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a mixing/pulverizing stage where hexagonal boron nitride and an aluminosilicate are beforehand mixed and pulverized, so as to be a powdery mixture for sintering; a pre-molding stage where the powdery mixture for sintering is subjected to press-molding, so as to be a pre-molded body; and a sintering stage where the pre-molded body is sintered in an atmosphere where oxygen is present.
