<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam valve device suppressing thermal stress by a steam condition of high temperature and high pressure, low in cost, improving safety and easy in maintenance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first steam valve includes a first inner casing containing a valve element between mainstream steam passages and a second steam valve includes a second inner casing containing a valve element between mainstream steam passages. The first inner casing and second inner casing are connected with the intervention of a seal mechanism and an outer casing is provided for containing both the connected first and second inner casings. A steam flow path for cooling is formed by providing an air gap between the inner casings and the outer casing. The first and second valve elements are respectively provided on lid bodies of the first and second inner casings and the outer casing via bushings that support valve stems for slidably driving them and the outer casing of the first steam valve is separated with respect to an inlet side passage of mainstream steam.
