A method for service handover and network resource allocation, a network node and a mobility management entity device are provided by the invention. When the terminal performs service handover, the source access network indicates to the target network the number of handover requests which are to be received about the current handover through the handover request carrying a handover request number identifier. After the target network acquires the handover request number according to the handover request number identifier and receives the corresponding number of handover requests, it allocates uniformly network resource to the terminal. The allocation error of network resource can be avoided and the probability of successful handover can be enhanced by the method.
