<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve working efficiency in inserting a force transmitting member into a pipe, and the assembling work efficiency of a gas generator. <P>SOLUTION: While a pretensioner 8 is mounted on a vehicle body, a pipe 10 is linearly extended upward from a tip end portion which is the lowest position, bent at generally right angles at a generally upper end of a frame 9 and then linearly and generally horizontally extended toward a vehicle cabin outside, extended in a vehicle fore-and-aft direction at a generally vehicle cabin outside end of the frame 9, and further extended toward a vehicle cabin inside and slightly upward at generally vehicle fore-and-aft ends of the frame 9. A base end portion 10b of the pipe 10 is thereby turned to the inner side of a vehicle cabin and slightly upward. A plurality of force transmitting members is inserted in the pipe 10 toward the vehicle cabin outside and slightly downward from the base end portion 10b, and a gas generator 14 is attached on the base end portion 10b thereby improving working efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
