PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suturing device which releases anchors more stably and reliably enables a suturing procedure with a suture unit. SOLUTION: The suturing device 1 which sutures tissues by using the suture unit having a suture thread with both ends suitable for the first anchor and the second anchor respectively includes: a hollow chip member for housing the first and second anchors; a wire 5 having a front end inserted through the chip member so that the first and second anchors may be released from the chip member; a flexible tube 7 which keeps the distal end integrally connected to the proximal end side of the chip member and through which the wire is inserted to move forward and backward in the axial direction; a body fixed to the proximal end of a sheath 8 through which the tube is inserted; and a sliding portion 13 which is fixed to the proximal end of the tube and is suitable for the body to slide in the axial direction. The sliding portion includes a slider 15 fixed to the proximal end of the tube and a sliding control portion 16 which controls the sliding movement of the slider with respect to the body in a normal state and deactivates the control by a predetermined operation.
