PURPOSE: A system for providing a supplementary service according to a message transmitting event in a mobile communication terminal is provided to immediately guide an available supplementary service to a user, thereby improving use convenience for the supplementary service. CONSTITUTION: Mobile communication terminals(10_1,10_2) store supplementary service guiding information. The terminals provide supplementary service guiding information corresponding to a message originating event to a user. If a predetermined additional service is selected, the terminals request a mobile communication network system(20) to provide the selected supplementary service. The system offers a corresponding supplementary service.
