<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device for achieving bidirectional transmission between modules without using a PLL in opposite direction transmission. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The information processing device includes: a first module for, within the transmission time segment of the first module, transmitting an encoded signal encoded such that, for input data including mutually distinct first and second bit values, the first bit value is expressed by a plurality of first amplitude values, the second bit value is expressed by second amplitude values different from the first amplitude values, the same amplitude value does not occur consecutively and the polarity of the amplitude value is inverted with each cycle, and, within a transmission time segment of a second module, transmitting a clock signal that corresponds to the polarity inversion cycle of the encoded signal; and a second module for extracting the clock signal by detecting the polarity inversions in the encoded signal, decoding the input data from the encoded signal using the clock signal, generating a transmission signal by controlling the amplitude values of the clock signal, and transmitting the transmission signal in synchronization with the clock signal.
