PURPOSE: A skin external composition containing Sedum sarmentosum extract and α-lipoic acid(LA) is provided to ensure anti-aging by radical removal and anti-wrinkle. CONSTITUTION: A skin external composition contains Sedum sarmentosum extract and lipoic acid derivative of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient in a weight ratio of 10:1-2. The composition contains 0.001-30.0 weight% of mixture of Sedum sarmentosum extract and lipoic acid derivative. The skin external composition is used in the form of lotion, gel, aqueous liquid, cream, essence, pack, oil in water or water in oil, powder, ointment, hair tonic, hair lotion, hair cream, shampoo or rinse.
