PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which enables rotational transfer in addition to reciprocating rectilinear transfer, in simple structure of merely changing the form of a component that enables reciprocating rectilinear transfer. SOLUTION: A coil part 21, fixed magnetic poles 22-25, and permanent magnets 26 and 27 are fixed in the fixed positions of a case 40. A plunger 12 is fixed to an output shaft 11 which is born, so that reciprocating rectilinear transfer and rotational transfer may be possible, to the case 40. The plunger 12 includes movable magnetic poles 12a and 12b. The movable magnetic poles 12a and 12b and the fixed magnetic poles 22-25 are equipped with grooves 16a, 16b, 22a, 23a, 24a, and 25a, respectively. The grooves 16a and 16b of each movable magnetic pole 12a and 12b are formed in different positions in the circumferential direction of the output shaft 11. Thrust, which rectilinearly shifts the plunger 12, and torque are generated by making magnetic force act between the fixed magnetic poles 22-25 and the movable magnetic poles 12a and 12b by the current application to the coil part 21.
