PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing unnecessary trouble with a customer who thinks that a coin has been thrown in, when the coin is thrown in. SOLUTION: In the coin depositing and dispensing machine provided with: a coin feeding port shutter 14a which opens/closes a feeding port 14 into which the coin is fed; and a dispensing port shutter 15a which opens/closes a dispensing port 15 from which the coin is dispensed, it is provided with: a sliding type upper shutter 16 which opens/closes the top of the receiving port shutter 14a and the top of the dispensing port shutter 15a; and a coin tray 17 on the downstream side in the closing operation direction A of the upper shutter 16 of the paying port shutter 15a.
