PURPOSE: A coupling multimedia player system is provided to halt the operation of the vehicle-mount multimedia player when the portable multimedia player is removed from the vehicle-mount multimedia player. CONSTITUTION: A portable multimedia player(30) implements a key operation and a data interface to output an audio signal through a vehicle-mount multimedia player(2). The vehicle-mount multimedia player implements mode conversion according to the key operation signal transmitted from the portable multimedia player, transmits a stored video signal to the portable multimedia player, and outputs the audio signal transmitted from the portable multimedia player.
