The present invention deals with a fibrous structure comprising an embossment, wherein the fibrous structure exhibits a ratio of average thickness of fibrous structure adjoining an embossment to average thickness of the embossment as measured according to the Average Thickness Test Method of less than 3 to about 1.2. A process for the manufacturing of such fibrous structure is also claimed.
