A testing apparatus for testing a test subject device provided with the testing function of sequentially outputting signals to be outputted from multiple terminals from one test terminal, comprising a testing section for feeding a test signal to the test subject device and receiving signals sequentially outputted from the test terminal in accordance with the test signal; an identifying section for identifying a correlationship as to from which terminal of the test subject device each of the signals sequentially received by the testing section is to be outputted; and a counting section for counting the number of signals judged as failure among the signals sequentially received by the testing section for each of the terminals of the test subject device on the basis of the correlationship identified by the identifying section.
