<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support system for application to medical expense deduction providing excellent convenience and ensuring security. <P>SOLUTION: In the support system for application to medical expense deduction, an IC card 1 is used to accumulate and store receipt data for payment, the data being supplied from a reader/writer installed in an institute of the payee at the payment for the item subject to medical expense deduction. The IC card 1 includes a storage section 15 for storing the receipt data and personal information of a user, a communication section 11 for transferring data to/from the reader/writer, a biometrics authentication section 13 for authenticating whether the user is registered, and a display section 14 for displaying the content of the receipt data or the personal information stored in the storage section 15 on a display window consisting of an electronic paper only when the user is authenticated by the biometrics authentication section 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
