The rotor has a rotor shaft extending along a rotor axis, and permanent magnets arranged around the rotor axis. A carrier body is extruded from a plastic material, and has plastic ribs arranged between the adjacent permanent magnets. A locally limited filling layer sections are formed during extrusion of the carrier body from the plastic, and provided in a plane of a first lamella (1a) between two adjacent second lamellas (1b). The filling layer sections are distributed around the rotor axis in the plane of the first lamella.
