PURPOSE: An energy absorbing device for a seismic isolator is provided to improve the structural performance of a steel damper by improving a shape of the steel damper. CONSTITUTION: An energy absorbing device for a seismic isolator comprises a damper(100). The damper is composed of a first member(10), a second member(20), and a third member(30). The first member is curved in a part section according to a preset curvature, and has a first opening(12). The second member and the third member are extended from both ends of the first member, and arranged to be faced each other. Also, the second member and the third member are coupled to the seismic isolator, and have a second opening(22) and a third opening(32).
