TOUCH SENSOR AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A touch sensor and a liquid crystal display having thereof are provided to accurately recognize the touch event. CONSTITUTION: Multiple y-axis leadout lines(YL1-YLm) are crossed to be insulated with the x-axis leadout line(XL1-XLn). Multiple sensor units(110) are included in the multiple domain frames defined by x-axis leadout lines and y-axis leadout lines. The sensor unit comprises a reset unit, a capacity sensor unit, and a first and second output unit. The first output unit diversifies the electric potential of the x-axis leadout line in response to the first reset signal changed by the capacity sensor. The second output unit diversifies the electric potential of the y-axis leadout line in response to the first reset signal changed by the capacity sensor.
