PURPOSE: A method for displaying three-dimensional image and a display device for performing the same are provided to supply high quality 3d image through only operation of a 3d display apparatus by quantizing a shift value according to time and depth of an image and storing it into 3d display apparatus. CONSTITUTION: In a method for displaying three-dimensional image and a display device for performing the same, a blank register(352) stores an address of a shifted image data. A queuing register(354) stores the depth data of the shifted image data. A counter(356) counts a black pixel generated through shift by reading the blank pixel. A output buffer outputs the sifted image data as 3D image data.
