PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sauna apparatus excellent in sanitation, regarding the sauna apparatus for supplying fine droplets and negative ions into a sauna room. SOLUTION: The sauna apparatus includes a heating means 9 for heating water in a water storage part 6, a water discharge valve 13 provided in the middle of a water discharge pipe 12 for discharging the water inside the water storage part 6, water crushing means 24 and 29 for pumping up and crushing hot water stored in the water storage part 6 by rotation and generating the fine droplets and the negative ions, a blower 35 for supplying the generated fine droplets and negative ions into the sauna room 2, and an air heating means 43 for heating air inside the sauna room 2 circulated by the blower 35, and performs the sauna operation of supplying the fine droplets and the negative ions into the sauna room 2. Before the start of the sauna operation and after the end of the sauna operation, the hot water inside the water storage part 6 is heated and the water crushing means 24 and 29 are driven to execute a sterilization mode of heating the hot water inside the water storage part 6 for prescribed time at a temperature capable of sterilization. When the sterilization mode after the end of the sauna operation is ended, the water discharge valve 13 is opened and then the drying mode of driving the blower 35 and an air heating means 43 is executed.
