A calorie consumption assistance system which assists a user in calorie consumption so that the user's consumed calorie in a predetermined period reaches a target value more efficiently.  The calorie consumption assistance system (1) comprises an information terminal device (2) provided with a consumed calorie value determination means which determines a calorie value consumed by the user in the predetermined period and a target value determination means which determines the target value of the consumed calorie in the predetermined period, a server device (4) provided with a content selection means which selects an exercise assistance content expressing an exercise content assisting the user in calorie consumption and corresponding to the difference value between the determined consumed calorie value and the target value, and a display device (3) provided with a display means displays the selected exercise assistance content.
