Disclosed is a water dispenser comprising: a water storage tank for storing water supplied from an external water tank or pipe, discharge valve controlled by a user to discharge water, and pipes which connect the water storage tank with the discharge valves, wherein at least one pipe has a curved portion and all curved portions has a curvature gentle enough to enable a rod or linear material for cleaning to pass therethrough. Also disclosed is a method for cleaning the pipes of the water dispenser, wherein an elastic rod or elastic linear material is inserted in one end of the pipe and passes through the other end of the pipe, and a cleaning member, such as a brush, bundle of fibers, and rubber, is attached to the end portion or some of the middle portion of the rod or linear material, to scrub the inner surface of the pipe clean. According to the present invention, an excellent cleaning effect is ensured by scrubbing the inner surface of the pipe clean, and cleaning can be performed without using separate chemical agents, thereby preventing harmful chemical materials from remaining inside the pipe and preventing the waste of money on chemical agents. |
