<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cake packaging container which enables cake manufacturers to easily perform cake decoration work, and eaters to easily cut the cakes, and is convenient for carrying. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The packaging container is equipped with a container body formed of a synthetic resin having a bottom plate for placing the cakes on its upper face, a hanging wall hung from the outer peripheral edge of the bottom plate, and a flange on the outer peripheral edge of the hanging wall, and a lid body formed of a synthetic resin having a top plate on the upper face, a side wall and an opening at the lower end. The bottom plate is formed into a cup-shape which makes a gradually going down curved face toward the central part of the bottom plate from the outer peripheral edge, or into a step-shape which makes a part containing the central part of the bottom plate as a lower floor and elevates toward the outer peripheral edge.
