<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic high-rise warehouse enabling stored objects to be stored and retrieved at a high speed by actualizing smooth transfer even when a transfer traveling body or an up-and-down movable table is misaligned with a stop position. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A transfer device 150 includes a pair of right and left storage guides each consisting of an introduction guide part having a horizontal space gradually wider toward the end in a certain section from both ends in the transferring direction and a parallel guide part having a constant horizontal space and shorter than the stored object in the transferring direction. A storage shelf includes a pair of right and left guide frames 122 each consisting of an introduction frame part having a horizontal space gradually wider toward the end in a certain section from the end on the side of the transfer device 150 and a parallel frame part having a constant horizontal space.
