摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a cost-reduced imaging apparatus by performing magnification color aberration correction or distortion aberration correction in a state of a predetermined color array without including any frame memory or line buffer separately. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging device 110 including a color filter having a predetermined color array for converting an optical image obtained through an optical system 10 into image data of an electrical signal; and a coordinate transforming unit 130 for transforming original coordinate values (x, y) of the imaging device generated by a counter 120 in a state of the color array into coordinate values (X, Y) different from those while considering a color of the color filter corresponding to the coordinate values (x, y). The imaging device adopts a random access mechanism and directly reads out a pixel value of a pixel at coordinate values (X, Y) as a pixel value of a pixel at the coordinate values (x, y) while considering the coordinate values (x, y) as a coordinate transform destination and the coordinate values (X, Y) as a coordinate transform source. The coordinate transforming unit performs coordinate transformation for any one of or both magnification color aberration correction and distortion aberration correction.
