Method of treating the approaches of an acid gas storage well (1) using a reactive solution, in which method the following steps are carried out: a) a fluid is injected via the well, for washing the rock of said approaches so that they do not contain products that react with said solution; and b) a specified volume of reactive solution suitable for reacting with acid gases is injected into the rock thus washed.
