<p>Method of manufacturing a plastic package (1) in a mold, wherein the package comprises a first (2) and second (3) closing part of which at least one comprises a cavity for receiving a product such that in use the closing parts enclose the packaged product, wherein the mold comprises a mold cavity (20) arranged for molding said product, wherein in the mold cavity an amount of plastic is introduced in substantially plastic condition, whereupon at least one moveable element (24) to be called a slide (24) is moved at least partly into the respective mold cavity (20) while compressing and/or displacing at least part of the plastic, while the speed of movement of the at least one slide (24) is so high that adiabatic heat development occurs in the plastic, such that the plastic becomes more liquid, at least its viscosity is decreased, and the temperature of the plastic is brought back to approximately the melting temperature thereof.</p> |
