<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive which excels in antistaticity without staining an adherend and excels in transparency, and to provide a method for producing the adhesive. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The antistatic adhesive comprises a (meth)acrylate copolymer (A) having an active hydrogen atom (h) which contains an organic residue represented by formula (1): -COOCH<SB>2</SB>CH(OH)CH<SB>2</SB>O-, 20-60 wt.% oxyalkylene unit having an average repeating number of 10-50 based on the weight of the copolymer (A), and 20-50 wt.% -CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>O- unit present in the oxyalkylene based on the weight of the copolymer (A) and a crosslinking agent (B).
