<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing member for an eaves gutter hanger, which can reduce a load imposed on a folded plate roof by an external force acting on an eaves gutter by a wind etc., and which can be easily attached to the eaves gutter hanger. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This reinforcing member 4 for the eaves gutter hanger is provided with a plate-like reinforcing member body 14A which has a pair of abutting surface portions 14Q and 14R abutting on lower end surfaces of valley plate portions 11b and 11b on both the sides of a mountain plate portion 11a with a joint P, respectively, a bolt holding portion 14B which is provided on the reinforcing member body 14A so as to fix the reinforcing member body 14A to a hanging bolt 13Ba, and a bent portion F which enables the adjustment of an angle of inclination of both the abutting surface portions 14Q and 14R with respect to the hanging bolt 13Ba. The bolt holding portion 14B can be attached to the hanging bolt 13Ba from the lateral side of the hanging bolt 13Ba. The eaves gutter hanger 13A is supported below a joint P by fixing the reinforcing member body 14A to the hanging bolt 13Ba in the state of making the pair of abutting surface portions 14Q and 14R abut on the lower end surfaces of the valley plate portions 11b and 11b, respectively.
