<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception processing method for reducing a residual frequency drift component in detecting a correlation peak, and improving peak detection sensitivity in executing partial correlation; and a wireless device. <P>SOLUTION: This reception processing method is composed such that, in a rough carrier frequency drift detection part 40, noise of a residual frequency component is removed based on a filter coefficient for rough detection output from a selector 43 by using an FIR filter 44; rough frequency correction is carried out by an IF carrier data generation part 70 by detecting rough carrier frequency drift by an FFT 45; noise of the residual frequency component is removed based on a filter coefficient for fine detection output from the selector 43 by using the FIR filter 44 before a correlation peak detection process; and, in a fine carrier frequency drift detection part 50, a fine carrier frequency drift is detected by an FFT 52 to execute fine frequency correction by an IF carrier data generation part 70.
