<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission method and a transmission apparatus which is easy to manage a label table, and can establish an alternate route, in a short time, when a failure occurs, in the ring type network of a label switching system. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission method which is established, beforehand individually, a label when a failure occurs with respect to the link of each direction between all nodes, making the link of one direction connecting between adjacent nodes as a unit, when a failure occurs, a failure notifying message Mf is sent out on the same directional ring from a terminal point node #4 of a faulty section, and is transferred sequentially in each node downstream; a label table for connecting the link in each node is created, in conjunction with the reception of the fault notification message Mf; and at the same time, an alternate route is formed by turning back the ring at both end nodes #3, #4 of the failure section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
