<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an influence due to a time change of each pixel and occurrence of irregularity upon image formation, in an exposure device provided with a light emission element array in which a plurality of pixels are arrayed in a line, each pixel having a light emission element. <P>SOLUTION: The exposure device is provided with: a clocked time storage part 25 which stores the integrated value of a product of a current value by a driving time of driving current applied to each light emission element of the plurality of pixels of the light emission element array; a characteristics change table 26 which stores luminance change rate characteristics for the driving current value and driving time of the light emission element with the table; and a data analysis-timing control part 20 which calculates a correction driving value for correcting a driving current value to be applied to the light emission element of each pixel in a division period during which one-line exposure energy required for exposure of one line is divided and supplied in respective division periods obtained by dividing one line time during which the one line is exposed to a photoreceptor drum, and a division exposure energy having the minimum ratio for one-line exposure energy is supplied, to a value based on an accumulation value stored on the clocked time storage part 25 and the luminance changing rate characteristics of the characteristics changing table 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
