PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation for external use, solving at least one of problems to accomplish high ceramide solubility, high ceramide stability, high composition stability, high moisture-retaining property, good feeling in use, high safety, low irritancy to the skin, excellent skin-protecting effect, high usefulness on dry skin parts of patients suffered from atopic dermatitis, etc. SOLUTION: The skin care preparation containing ceramide 2, phytoceramide, amino ceramide, trimethylglycine, and hydroxyproline is provided.
