<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording liquid suppressing curl, having good storage stability and further suppressing image deformation. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording liquid comprises water, a color material and a water-soluble organic solvent represented by general formula (1), wherein the content of a water-soluble organic solvent having an SP value of ≤27.5 is ≥70 mass% relative to the amount of all the water-soluble organic solvent.
