The deep-drawing foil comprises additional safety characteristics in the flat area. A printing is provided in the form of indications, letter, letter strings, numbers, symbols, logo, lines or guilloche. The safety characteristics of the foil in the flat area correlate with the safety characteristics of a cover foil. The both safety characteristics correlate with one another corresponding to the lock and key principle. An independent claim is included for a method for producing safety characteristics on a deep-drawing foil for blister packaging.
