PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for playing a program in an image display device are provided to perform the environment setup operation depending on a program played in an image display device. CONSTITUTION: A display unit outputs a corresponding program depending on a condition stored in a memory unit. In addition, the display unit outputs the information for a favorite program. An audio unit outputs an audio corresponding to the image outputted from the display unit, and a controller(140) judges the playing point of time of the favorite program according to the condition stored in the memory unit. In addition, the controller performs a control operation according to the judgment result depending on the stored condition. |
